Did you know you can help fight global warming by eating Vegetarian?
A 2006 United Nations Report revealed that cattle-rearing generated more greenhouse gases than transportion. Yes, the gas released from all that cattle waste causes more damage to the earth than driving our vehicles.
It doesn’t mean you have to go completely vegetarian to help the planet ,but starting with just one or two meatless meals that instead focus on fresh local fruits and vegetables wouldn’t hurt any of us. It would help the planet and be better for our health.

I have a question about going vegetarian. Would that cause more food shortages? There’s a lot of food concentrated on cattle ranches in the form of meat so would we have more food shortages or could the food that is fed to the cattle be fed to us humans as well?
Interesting question.
I don’t think it would cause food shortages. I think it would be just the opposite.
The land that is currently used to graze the cattle; and grow grain, corn, and hay to feed the cattle; could easily be converted to grow foodstuffs for humans.
Plus, vegetables in particular grow fast. Several crops could be harvested for human consumption in the same amount of time it takes to raise a herd of cattle.
