Unless you have already made the switch to earth friendly re-usable shopping bags you are probably practically buried underneath a pile of plastic grocery bags.
I have a lot of them at my house, mostly because using reusable tote bags is still new to me so I forget to take them half the time, plus I have 5 year stockpile of them that I collected before I made the switch.
I occasionally take a pile of them to my local store and put them in their plastic bag recycling bin and I use them as liners in my small trash cans in my bathrooms. But I still have lots of them.
I also crochet and have been looking for a tote bag pattern. I found several patterns that show how to turn those plastic grocery bags into skeins of “yarn” that can be turned into tote bags.
